It’s been a while since I’ve last wrote on here. Sometimes I totally forgot we have a tumblr page, my bad. Please accept my apologies.
We’re definitely not dead. On the contrary we’re going stronger than ever. From January 8th to January 12th we’ve entered Studio 73 Recording, in Ravenna (IT), to record our first full length under the supervision of our beloved mighty Riccardo “Paso” Pasini.
The result is “From The Depths”, that will be released by Strikedown Records in a couple of months.

Just got back from tour. Even though it was only 5 days, it was a total blast. Many many thanks/hugs to Mike from Charly Bone, Martin and CheeseCake Crew and obviously our beloved Sandro “Pazzo” from Hannover. Thumbs up also for the bands we shared the stage with: It’s A Trap, Moon To Ocean, Failed Suicide Plan and Pianos Become The Teeth, a really solid band that deserves all the best in the world. And a big high 5 to our tour buddies Bini and Woody, we had great times these last few days.

We’ll also play at Punk Rock Holiday 1.2 in Tolmin, Slovenia.

We’ll be on stage on the last day from 15.30 to 16.00

Glad to share the stage with rad bands such as Brutality Will Prevail, Naysayer, Terror, The Slackers, The Toy Dolls.

Back on track finally.
We’ve started shooting the video for our song Empathy, it will be out in the next few months. In the meanwhile we’re writing the songs for our next release on Strikedown Records. More news about it soon.

It might seem we’re dead or something like that but we’re not. Our light hasn’t gone out yet. Due to some health issues occoured to our drummer we’re taking a forced stop to make him totally recover. We were supposed to shoot the video for our song “Empathy”, but it’s postponed to January 2012. Needless to say we’re also writing the stuff for our next release on STRIKEDOWN RECORDS. So, see ya in 2012!

“II Songs” review on the latest number of A Short Fanzine About Rocking

Italian hardcore outfit Blame It On the Ocean follow up their promising debut EP, May 2010’s ‘Ruins’ with this short, sharp tape effort that offers up two tracks of ferocious hardcore rage. ‘Empathy showcases a frenetic, intense brand of noise that nods towards the likes of Converge and Cursed at their most direct, while ‘Fall Depression’ is a slower but no less heavy number that’s blessed some fantastically big, nasty-sounding riffs. Proving that there’s more to the Italian hardcore scene that To Kill and Gold Kids, this lot are well worth keeping an eye on.
